THE speaker at St Mary’s Church, Hemyock, Harvest Festival service is Anne Browse.

She is vice-president of Methodist Women in Britain (MWiB) having recently stepped down from the lead role. She is also a local farmer’s wife and past deputy head at Uffculme School.

As president of MWiB she travelled extensively, including visiting refugee camps.

The service at the parish church on Friday (September 22) begins at 7pm.
