WELLINGTON side Sampford Blues kick off the new season with a home game against Staplegrove Reserves in Division Two of the Taunton Volkswagen Saturday Football League this weekend (Sept 3).

Sampford, who won the Somerset Intermediate Cup last season, start as one of the favourites to win the title.
