WEST Buckland county councillor Ross Henley has challenged BT to restore the phone service to a number of local residents who have been without the use of a phone for well over a week.

He said: “It’s totally unacceptable that in the 21st Century BT has allowed this to happen, especially for vulnerable, older residents.

"I’m demanding BT sort this out now and have been speaking to BT about this. Many local residents have approached me about this.”
