POLICE are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after a shop window was smashed in Fore Street, Wellington.

H T Perry and Son and Granddaughter, a family-run hardware business, posted CCTV footage of the incident on their Facebook.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police, said: “At 3.26 pm on Sunday 25 January, we received a report that a shop window had been smashed in Fore Street, Wellington.

“The damage was reported to have been caused at some point between 5.30 pm on Saturday and 3.15 pm on Sunday.

“Anyone with any information or CCTV footage that could help our investigation should call 101 using the reference number 5226022429.”
