WELLINGTON Rugby Club was flooded with festival goers for the revival of the town’s Welliestock.

This was the first time the festival has been held since the pandemic following a failed attempt to restart the event in 2024 due to rising costs.

On Saturday, July 5, thousands of locals gathered at the sports venue to enjoy entertainment from a range of musicians including Court Fields School’s student band Slowburne, an acoustic set from Fiorenza Newland, and headlining band FILTA, alongside 13 other acts throughout the day.

Fiorenza said: “I was honoured to have the opportunity to participate in this celebration of local talent, and I want to give a huge thank you to both Charlie and Huw for making this event happen. Until next year!”
