FAMILIES in the Wellington area looking to keep youngsters occupied over the summer school holidays and at weekends can now make use of a new outdoor play area at Rumwell Farm Shop.

Pegasus formally submits plans for housing on far side of Wellington Relief RoadThe play area has been designed for youngsters aged from one to 12 years old. It is on a safety surface and includes a Wendy house, climbing frame, slide and two toddler rockers – a horse and duck.
Farm shop co-owner Anne Mitchell said: “We’re delighted to now have a children’s play area on-site. It is something we have been wanting to build for a while.”
The area is enclosed and the only access is via the cafe. Parents/guardians must supervise their children at all times.
