SOMERSET Sight is appealing for people to donate unwanted audiobooks on CD due to a recent rise in demand.

The charity’s volunteer librarian Sue Walters said: “For many sight-impaired people audio books are their windows to the world. They would be lost without them.”

The charity is looking for all types of audio books including children’s literature, thrillers and classics.

Audiobooks on tape are not required. Anyone with books to spare should phone 01823 333818 or email [email protected]
