BLAIZE ‘n’ Bridget Night, a unique folk custom to Wellington, will be held at the Dolphin pub in Waterloo Road, Wellington, on Saturday night (February 2).

The event, organised by Wellington Folk and Custom Society, will feature the swearing in of Blaize and Bridget by Wellington’s only freeman, Richard Fox, demonstrations, recitals and songs.

Mr Double Danger the Second, Mordred the Dragon and the Bradninch Millers Morris team will also be there. Traditional folk music and songs will follow. The event starts at 8pm.
