TWO men from Rockwell Green have been getting on their bikes to help Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton.

Andrew Ellins and Michael Johnson were among a group of 11 riders to cycle through England, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg to raise money for Love Musgrove.

The three-day ride covered 310 miles and included 10,000ft of climbing – and a few falls and one spectacular crash before finishing last Monday evening.

Andrew and Michael were raising money for Ward 9 Haematology, where Michael’s father-in-law was a patient several times over the years before he died in October 2015.

All the money they raise will provide equipment and facilities for Ward 9 to create a better environment for patients and their families.
