THE REGIONAL director for the Wellington branch of Webber’s Estate Agents has shaved his head for charity.

Tim Bennett had his head shaved by colleagues on Friday, November 28, to raise money for the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital, which provides cancer care.

At the time of shaving his head, £2,905 had been raised, exceeding the £1,000 goal, but it has since exceeded £3,000.

Mr Bennett said: “For an estate agent to be three times over target is quite an achievement!

“Every year we try and do something as a company to raise money for charity. Last year we did Young Minds vs Cancer, and this year everyone said I should sacrifice my hair, so we did.”

The shaving was also livestreamed onto social media platforms.
