FOLLOWING a recent rebrand, Wellington’s High Street curry house, Wellington Tandoori celebrated its reopening with an official event on Monday, May 19.

Attendees were greeted with speeches made by former Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Somerset, Clinton Rogers, Wellington Mayor, Cllr Janet Lloyd, and Wellington Tandoori’s Mr Khan.

Owner of Wellington Tandoori, Asif Iqbal said: “We were blown away by the turnout - a fantastic crowd full of energy and support.

“We were truly honoured to welcome the Mayor of Wellington and Mr. Clinton Rogers from the Lord Lieutenant’s office, whose presence added a real sense of occasion to the event.

“The atmosphere was electric, and it was a proud moment to finally open our doors to the community.”
