PUPILS in Badgers class at Beech Grove Primary School in Wellington have been learning all about the weather.

They had a visit from the Met Office and learnt what different weather symbols mean, how it observes weather patterns using radar and satellites, and how it forecasts the weather.

Pupils even had the chance to experience how forecasters share the weather news on television by standing in front of a green screen and being superimposed onto a map of the UK.
