ABBEY Ling, of Nynehead, won silver in the ladies section of the English Open Olympic trap shooting competition which was held at East Yorkshire.

Abbey shot 180ex200 to finish seventh overall in the competition.

Her husband Ed won bronze in the 2016 men's trap shooting event at the Rio Olympics.
