THE Taunton & District Youth Football League swings back into action this weekend following the Christmas and New Year break.

For many teams it is their first game in three weeks, while others have been without a match for much longer.

Wellington Town, who top the Under 16 section, have not played since they beat Larkhall Athletic Eagles 5-3 at home in the Somerset Youth Shield at the beginning of last month. They finally return when they play Burnham United Juniors away on Sunday week.

Local Taunton Youth League fixtures, tomorrow - Under 12, Division One: Bishops Lydeard Panthers v Wellington Town, Under 13, Division One: Wellington Athletic v Toine Youth Hornets; Isle of Wedmore Lions v Wellington Town.

Sunday - Under 14, Division A: Wellington Town v Tone Youth Wasps. Under 15, Division Two: Wellington Town v Mnehead Youth.
