They have celebrated their achievement after winning their last match of the winter season against the Vikings. They collected 34 points from their 17 wins, with just four losses.

Fun Loving Lads came second with 28 points and Newbees were third with 26.

Spoofers were not far behind on 24 points. Welly came fifth with 17. Hemyock were sixth, also with 17 points. Cavaliers were seventh with 12 and the unfortunate Vikings brought up the rear with 10.

In the last matches of the season, David Harrison, Martin Porter, Jay Merrell and Phil Ellis's Bowlsheviks took on Paul Kelsall, Phil Wiggan, Eddie Dilley and Mark Bond's Vikings.

It was a good, enjoyable game but Bowlsheviks had the best of it, winning comfortably 20 shots to 7 to secure their place at the top of the table and celebrate being league champions.
