WELLINGTON'S two teams in the Somerset Women's Football League both suffered losses over the weekend.

Wellington Wildcats, playing in Division One for the first time this season, were beaten 2-0 at the Playing Field by Portishead Ladies. However, they remain seventh in the table.

There was no joy, either, for Wellington Ladies who were beaten by the same scoreline in their away game by Burnham in Division Two South. It leaves Wellington second from bottom.

Wildcats have no match this coming weekend, while Wellington Ladies are home to leaders Yeovil Town Women's Development.
