JEWSON Western League club Brixham AFC have announced that former Wellington boss Richard Cherry has joined their managerial team.
Cherry left Wellington at the end of last season, stepping down ‘for personal reasons.’
Wellington finished last season in 15th place in the Premier Division.
Wellington recently appointed Tornado Bello as player-manager but he, too, has left saying: “This hasn’t been an easy decision, but I need to be honest with myself. After a lot of reflection, I’ve realised I’m not ready to be a manager.”
Wellington play their first league match at Bovey Tracey this coming Saturday.
