WELLINGTON’S football friendly at Barnstaple tomorrow (Tues) has been called off.

Wellington announced on Saturday that their new player-manager Tornado Bello has stepped down - after less than a month in charge.

He said at the time: “I’m a football player first and foremost, and I believe I’m better suited to being an assistant manager at this stage of my journey.”

The Wellington club have not made a statement as to who will replace him.
