WELLINGTON’S soccer manager Clive Jones says he no longer fears relegation from the Premier Division of the Toolstation League.

He said yesterday: “I haven’t thought we might get relegated since November. I only look up, not down, and I’ve told the players to think like this.”

Wellington are 12 points clear of the drop zone following their 2-1 home win over Hengrove Athletic over the weekend.

“This was a must-win for us, particularly as we face leaders Street at home on Saturday,” added Jones.

“Street are an exceptional side and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are not playing Southern League football next season. I think the title is between them and Willand.”
