STORM Arwen did not put off Wellington U9s and 10s training session last Saturday, with yet again another amazing turn-out. Despite strong winds, all the young players displayed great team work, ball skills, defending and goal scoring.

The U9s have a new team coach - James McAlpine comes from a past of playing football for Wellington, bringing along a wealth of knowledge to develop the young players for their next season. Some of players’ parents are also taking on more of a support role.

To help keep out the winter chill on and off the pitch, the Under 10s were each presented with a new training jacket, kindly sponsored by Tim Jenkins of KCS Autos, 3 Blackdown Business Park, Sylvan Road, Wellington.
