WELLINGTON AFC entered two teams in the Taunton and District Cup football finals last Saturday.

Wellington Tigers won their semi final against Bridgwater Victoria Park Rangers PR 2-0 but unfortunately lost in the final to Tone Youth on penalties to finish runners up in the Taunton and District U7's Bowl competition.

Wellington Lions also got to the final of the Taunton and District U7's Plate competition after knocking out Galmington Dragons Raiders on penalties following a 2-2 draw at full time. They unfortunately lost 4-1 in the final to Galmington Hawks.

The boys did very well to come runners up in two cup competitions in their first season and will be targeting one step better this time next season. The coaches are very proud of what the boys have already achieved in their first season and excited about the journey ahead.
