WELLINGTON Wanderers Under 11s showed tremendous determination and character in their match against Wolf Pack at the weekend.

Going into the game with only nine available players due to two unforeseen injuries, the team already faced a difficult challenge. Unfortunately, the situation became even tougher when two more players picked up injuries during the match, but they never gave up and showed great resilience throughout.

With limited players available, the focus was clear: defend strongly, stay brave, and make smart decisions when in possession. The team responded brilliantly to this challenge. Every player worked hard for one another, showing real teamwork and commitment. Defensively, Wellington stood firm and battled for every ball, while also trying to remain calm and clever whenever they had possession.

The effort and attitude displayed by the players was outstanding. Even under difficult circumstances, the team fought until the very end and demonstrated the kind of character and personality that makes the club proud.
