WELLINGTON will be looking to bounce back after two defeats by top-five sides over the Easter when they play at home to Shepton Mallet in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League on Saturday, April 11 (2p.m.).

Wellington went down 4-1 away to Barnstaple Town on Good Friday and followed this with a 3-0 home loss against Sidmouth Town on Easter Monday.

Wellington, who have not won a game since they beat Bradford Town 3-1 at home early last month, drew 2-2 away when they played Shepton at the beginning of the season.

Wellington are currently lying 15th in the table, with Shepton one place below them, having played one more game.

Clevedon Town head the table with 73 points from 32 matches, with Paulton in second spot one point adrift, both sides having played the same number of games.

Meanwhile, Porlock will be looking to clinch the runners-up spot in the Premier Division of the Centregreat Taunton & District Saturday Football League when they play away to North Petherton on Saturday, April 11.

The West Somerset side, who lost 1-0 away to new champions Wembdon last Saturday, are currently lying in second place, three points clear of third-placed Dunwear United who have played one more game than their rivals.

In the first division Racehorse Rovers, who have already made sure of winning the title, play away to Middlezoy Rovers Athletic who are lying in eighth spot.
