WELLINGTON, fielding ‘an experimental side’, were beaten 5-0 away by Elmore in a pre-season soccer friendly last night (Thurs).
New player-manager Tornado Bello fielded a mix of new faces with several members of last season’s squad.
All the goals were scored in a game which was switched from Tiverton to Witheridge because of problems with the Elmore pitch.
Wellington are back in action on Saturday, July 11, when they play Nailsea United on the 3G pitch at Court Fields School.
