WELLINGTON will be back in action after a ten-day break when they play away to neighbours Bridgwater United in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League tomorrow evening (Tues, 7.45p.m.).
Wellington conceded the season’s double to United last season, losing 1-0 at Bridgwater in August before losing 4-1 at home in November.
It will be the second game in charge for Wellington’s new boss Josh Stunell who has taken over from Richard Cherry following his decision to step down just before the season started.
In their only game with Stunell in charge, Wellington gained a goalless away draw against Nailsea & Tickenham.
After tomorrow’s game, Wellington have another blank Saturday before they finally get their home matches under way on Saturday, September 6, with a game against Helston.
Wellington share the Playing Field with the local cricket club which means they cannot play home matches until September.
