WELLINGTON continue their busy end-of-season schedule with four matches in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League in the space of ten days, three at the Playing Field, writes Barry Knott.

The first two matches - on Saturday (Mar 23) and Tuesday (Mar 26) - are against Oldland Abbotonians and Saltash United, two teams below them in the table.

However, they face a tough Good Friday game when they visit Bridgwater United, who are fourth and looking for a return to the Southern League. On Easter Monday they are home again - to Street who are 11th .

Wellington, who have been struggling near the foot of the season for most of this season, moved up to 15th with a 3-1 home win over bottom side Millbrook last Saturday, thereby completing their first double of the season.

Only one team will be relegated this season and Millbrook will almost certainly be going down. They have won only two of their league games and are points adrift at the foot of the table.

Forthcoming first team fixtures include: Mar 23 home v Oldland Abbotonians (3.00), Mar 26 home v Saltash United (7.30), Mar 29 away v Bridgwater United (1.00), April 1 home v Street (3.00).
