WELLINGTON Wanderers have stormed into the second round of the Somerset Under 12 KO Cup with a stunning performance against Larkhall Athletic, finishing with a resounding 14-0 away victory.

Travelling to Bath, the Wanderers showcased their exceptional passing game, which kept Larkhall on the back foot throughout the match. The relentless movement and teamwork of the Wanderers effectively tired their opponents, creating ample space to mount attacks.

The Wanderers dominated from the start, with the scoring getting underway early in the first half. Riley L was in superb form, netting an impressive three goals, while Rex B and Jack J contributed significantly with two goals each. Louis M and Rowan G also added their names to the score sheet with a brace apiece.

Harry G and Rosco P rounded off the scoring, with Tom K, the goalkeeper, stealing the show with an extraordinary goal in the final minutes. After playing outfield briefly, Tom performed a dazzling pirouette before sending the ball soaring into the top corner, earning the title of 'goal of the game.'

As the match progressed, Larkhall struggled to keep pace, visibly tiring in the last 15 minutes. In a display of sportsmanship, the Wanderers shuffled their lineup, giving players the opportunity to experience slightly unfamiliar positions while maintaining their dominant performance.

The young Tangerines exhibited great attitude and determination throughout the contest, demonstrating their potential and teamwork.
