WELLINGTON Wanderers AFC Under 11s continued their impressive form with another outstanding performance against Staplegrove at Court Fields.

From the first whistle, the team showed excellent shape, discipline, and a growing confidence. Their communication on the pitch was superb, with players constantly talking, encouraging, and helping each other—creating a calm and connected atmosphere that allowed the team to move the ball with real fluency.

Wellington’s passing was sharp and purposeful, as they switched play intelligently and looked to find space across the pitch. Every player contributed, whether it was through strong defending, clever movement in attack, or hard work off the ball. The midfield dictated the tempo, linking up well with both defence and attack, while the forwards pressed high and looked dangerous whenever they broke.

Defensively, the team stayed organised and compact, showing maturity beyond their years. This structure gave Wellington the platform to play their football with confidence, resulting in some lovely team moves.
