WELLINGTON’S home game against Cheddar in South Division of the Western Counties Floodlit Youth Football League this evening (Tues, 7.30) goes ahead despite the poor weather.

Wellington, being managed again by Joe Conway, will be looking at a repeat display of last week when they hammered Frome Town 8-0 away.

Wellington never won a game for the whole of the 2022-23 season, so this result was extra special.

However, Wellington are expecting a much tougher game this evening for their first home game of the new season.
