WELLINGTON'S 2-2 home draw against Shepton Mallet in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League last Saturday is being allowed to stand.

The game was halted four minutes into added time at the end following a serious leg injury to Shepton's goalkeeper Gabriel Plant.

The referee ended the match while an ambulance was called to take Plant to hospital.

The league have now confirmed that the result will stand and the match will not be replayed.
