THE semi finals of the men’s singles indoor competition took place last week at Wellington Bowling Club.
In the first match Nick Channon took on Rod Troake, both seasoned bowlers. Rod delivered some good bowls but Nick was too good for him on the night and took the match 21-9.
In the second match Mike Connor, a very experienced bowler, played Alan May. Although Alan tried hard Mike’s experience showed and he took the match 17-3 and will meet Nick in the final.
