FORMER Bristol and Bath centre Will Hurrell was the guest of honour at Wellington Rugby Club’s presentation night which was held for senior members and players, Colts and Vixens.
Mark Gendall was presented with the Club Person of the Year award, while Ali Cameron received the Richard Fox Award.
The Colts’ Clubman of the Year was Harrison Hooper while lst XV captain George Hodgson was Players Player of the Year and was one of five players who received their 100 cap ties, the others being Ollie Price, Alex Davey, Jason Rowland and Andrews Bellamy.
The following presentations were made: Club – Club Person of the Year Mark Gendall; Club – WRFC Committee Player for 25/26 Zoe Wadham; Club - WRFC Committee Player for 25/26 Jonny Clyst; Club - Richard Fox Award Ali Cameron.
Colts/18s - Most Improved 25/26 Jacob Allder; Vixens – Richard Fox Most Improved 25/26 Grace Tubb; Senior - WRFC Most Improved Player for 25/26 Evan Greening.
Colts/18s - Clubman of the Year 25/25 Harrison Hooper; Vixens – Keith Colman’s Best Newcomer award Lucy McCade; WRFC Best New Player for 25/26 Tom Slade. Colts/U18s - Player of the Year 25/26 Daniel Mackenzie; Vixens – Gerald Jenkinson Player of the Year 25/26 Courtney Sellick; Vixens – Coaches Player of the Year; Helen Perry Senior - 1st XV Player for 25/26 Callum Warren; Senior - 2nd XV Player for 25/26 Matt Huggett.
