WELLINGTON play their first pre-season rugby match when they face neighbours Bridgwater & Albion at the Athletic Ground this evening (Thurs, 7.30p.m.).
Bradley Field takes charge of the side for the first time since being appointed head coach earlier this summer, after taking over from Graham Dawe.
The match goes ahead despite the hard grounds following such a long spell of dry weather.
Wellington have another warm-up game - away to Taunton Warriors next Wednesday.
Wellington’s first match of the season in Regional Two South West is away to Okehampton on Saturday, September 6. They follow this with their first home game - a derby clash against Tiverton on Saturday, September 13.
