The three teams in the West Somerset League still have a few matches left. Wellington A are third in Division 1 and James Cross, Liz Deem, Kevin Jones and Sue Rackley are hoping for a strong finish to their season. The team has managed to have some strong 10-0 wins against Trull B twice and Bridgwater A. Trull A lead the division. Connor.Sellick and Yaz Cannell have also played for A team.

Wellington B has had a more consistent season than in 2025, winning 4 out of 8 matches and tied one. However, it has still been a struggle to build consistent partnerships due to availability. Players have been Aly Spiller, Amelia, Margaret Staker, Greg Sellers, Sam Ogilvie, David Norkett and David Goldsack.

Chair Sue Rackley said “We really could field another mixed team if we could find a few ladies who could commit to playing regularly. Mixing around doesn't really get good results. If you've played competitively, we'd love to hear from you."

The B team has had two consecutive wins and have two matches remaining. They have 45 points with 2 matches in hand and sit third behind Bridgwater C with Taunton School A in first, although the school has broken up for summer but still needs to fulfil 2 fixtures.

The men's team has romped away winning all their matches convincingly. They still have one match but have already secured promotion to Division 1.

The public can book a court from the club's website for £8 an hour.
