WELLINGTON lost a thrilling rugby match 27-24 at home to second-placed Crediton in Regional Two South West this afternoon (Sat).

Wellington were leading towards the end but the Devon side snapped up a try when the home team were down to 13 players.

Highlight of the game, however, was a tremendous try in the first half by Ash Harney who ran the length of the field to level the scores at 17-17 just before half time.

Wellington's other try scorers were Corey Jenkinson, Cam Venn and Tom Owen.
