AFTER heavy rain for most of the day, it was inevitable that Wellington's football friendly at Bishops Lydeard would be called off.

The two clubs have agreed to play it next Thursday, with a 7.30p.m. kick-off.

Wellington's next game will now be at Brislington next Tuesday. The Lydeard game has been rearranged for next Thursday (7.30p.m.).

Meanwhile, Wellington have confirmed that Charlie Hawkings is returning to the club to play for the Reserves who are being managed this coming season by defender Mark Owen.

The Reserves and Under 18s are not back in training.
