WELLINGTON'S Somerset Premier Cup tie at Cheddar this evening (Tues) has been called off.

It follows a pitch inspection which was made by the Somerset County League club this afternoon.

It means Wellington have had two matches postponed in the last four days because of the bad weather.

They hope to be back in action on Saturday when they are due to play away to St Blazey in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League. The sides drew 1-1 at Wellington in mid-September.
