A CAR dealer has sponsored a charity head shave which raised more than £3,000.

After three years without a haircut, Kt English-Baillie shaved her head on July 6, donating her hair to The Little Princess Trust.

Westcars Tiverton, who supply cars across the Wellington area and beyond, supported Kt who raised £3,237 for the charity and Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

Kt shared: “A good friend of mine is currently fighting her battle with cancer and she decided to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust prior to starting her chemotherapy, which got me thinking, maybe I could do that too.

Westcars owner Steve Puttock said: “Recognising what a bold step she was taking for such magnificent causes, I was pleased to help with a donation.”
