A SPECIAL June show weekend will see local Chelston Motorhomes marking a major milestone this summer.

The Wellington based dealership is celebrating 40 years of partnership with the Erwin Hymer Group.

From June 19 to 21, the three-day event will showcase more than 150 new and used motorhomes and campervans, alongside exclusive finance offers, competitions, refreshments and expert advice from the dealership team.

The Somerset-based dealer, which has been operating in the leisure vehicle industry for more than 50 years, said the event is designed for both existing motorhome owners and those considering entering the touring lifestyle for the first time.

Visitors attending the weekend will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from Truma, leading suppliers of caravan and motorhome equipment, who will be present throughout the weekend to offer product guidance and support.

Chelston Motorhomes traces its roots back to 1973, when founders Brenda and Stanley Eyles purchased Snows Garage on the A38 near Wellington. The business later evolved into Chelston Motorhomes in 1986 with the businesses purchasing land on the Business Park at Chelston to develop a brand new Motorhome and Caravan Centre opened by local MP Jackie Ballard in 1999.

The business has since grown into one of the South West’s leading motorhome and campervan dealerships, representing a number of major UK and European brands. It displays more than 100 leisure vehicles and carries out more than 1,000 servicing and repair jobs annually, with a focus on customer support and after-sales care.

The June show weekend will include offer special finance deals on selected vehicles, BBQ food and refreshments throughout the weekend, prize giveaways and competitions, and advice from Chelston’s Sales and Aftersales specialists as well as representatives from Truma.

The event will be held at Chelston Motorhomes at Chelston Business Park in Wellington with free entry and on-site parking.
