Santa Claus will be making a special visit to Wellington and Rockwell Green this Christmas.

Thanks to the Rotary Club of Wellington, arrangements have been made for Santa, his elves and reindeer, to spend three Saturdays leading up to Christmas in Wellington town centre.

He will also tour the town and Rockwell Green on his sled for five evenings in the festive season.

In a statement Father Christmas said he had made his list, checked it twice, and discovered Wellington had been very nice. He added 'I am looking forward to meeting local children again, ho ho ho.'

Although dates have yet to be fixed for the festive outings, they are set to be announced soon.
