One of Wellington’s oldest residents has celebrated her 104th birthday in the Oaktree Court care home.

The care home said they had “rolling out the red carpet” for Kathleen, with an “extraordinary” party held in the home’s garden room, where staff family and friends helped make it a special day.
Kathleen took the opportunity to reveal the secret to a long life - telling the Wellington Weekly it was all down to “milk and chocolates.”
