SHEPPY’S Cider are hosting a bank holiday event to celebrate May Day, with live music being performed by professional musician Andy Doran - a guitarist and singer with nearly 40 years’ experience.

The event will be taking place at Three Bridges in Bradford-on-Tone on Monday, May 1. The event will run from 10am to 4pm, with Andy Doran performing from 11am.

Sheppy’s Cider has been based in Bradford-on-Tone since the family moved there in 1917, and the name and location have been a fixed point in the lives of people in the area and holiday makers ever since.

Megan Llewellyn, Event Coordinator at Sheppy’s Cider, said: “Last year Andy performed at our special May Day event and everyone who came along really enjoyed it, so we are thrilled to have him return to play for us again this year.

“It looks set to be a fantastic event, with not only live music from Andy from 11am, but also craft stalls and activities for all the family from 10am until 4pm.

"There will be maypole dancing, a BBQ, outdoor games and much more. Everyone is welcome and the event is free to enter. Car parking will cost £3 in advance or £5 on the day.”

Andy Doran said: “I am honoured to have been asked to return to Sheppy’s Cider’s May Day event. Last year was such a fantastic day and I thoroughly enjoyed it, so I am already looking forward to this year. It will be a celebration to remember.”
