ST JOHN Ambulance volunteers will be coming to Fore Street’s Pop-Up Shop from June 23 to 28.

The first aid charity will be offering visitors the chance to learn or refresh their baby, child and adult first aid skills.

How to deal with a major bleed, choking, or cardiac arrest, are all things the St John’s team will be able to help with, alongside CPR and defibrillator use demonstrations.

There will also be a raffle, a name the bear competition to raise funds for the organisation and a free children’s colouring competition where participants will have the chance to win a soft toy badger.

The charity will be in the Pop-Up Shop from 10am until 4pm from Monday to Saturday.
