A VAN was seized by police in Wellington because road tax had not been paid for nearly eight months.

Police highlighted on social media that it was ‘the second time we have removed this car from the same owner’.

However, the van was parked back on the road in the same location two days later.

The Wellington Weekly understands that the owner was able to pay the fees involved before the vehicle was crushed.
