WELLINGTON School celebrated an outstanding achievement at this year’s Ten Tors Challenge, with the 35-mile team from the school finishing first ahead of the 240 teams taking part.

The three teams of students from the school showed showed determination, teamwork, and resilience on the demanding routes across Dartmoor.

The 55-mile team finished in second place while the 45-mile team also finished in an incredible time, arriving shortly after midday.

A spokesperson for the school said: “Completing the challenge was a proud moment for the school community and reflected the values of perseverance, courage, and cooperation.
