WELLINGTON will be looking to maintain their improved form when they play at home to fourth-placed Liskeard Athletic in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League this afternoon (Sat, 3p.m.).

After some heavy defeats, Wellington were much more competitive in their home game against Buckland Athletic in mid-week before losing 3-1.

However, the club is still without a chairman and first team manager or coach.

A club spokesperson said this week: “We are still looking to appoint a permanent manager or coach. Anyone interested in discussing the position should email [email protected]”

An interim management team of Joe Conway, Mike Hawes and Georgia Purdy will again be in charge of the side for their third home game in eight days this afternoon.
