WELLINGTON AFC’s Ability Counts section, who took part in their first tournament of the season on Sunday, have launched a drive for new players.

Their three sides – two adult and one youth – gave a good account of themselves at Street’s Strode College, playing against the likes of Bristol Rovers and Taunton Town.

The group welcome adults and juniors (11 years upwards) with disabilities and other health issues.

They train at Court Fields School on Sundays and also play in the Somerset Ability Counts League. Anyone wishing to join – or needing more information – should call Mike Bird on 07709 142805 or email [email protected].
