JOE Conway will be in charge of Wellington as manager when they play at home to second-placed Clevedon Town in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League tonight (Wed, 7.45p.m.).

Conway is part of a four-strong management team announced by the club earlier this week, the others being John Norman (assistant manager), Josh Baker (club captain) and Georgia Purdy (coach).

Clevedon trail leaders Bridgwater United by five points but have two games in hand while Wellington have yet to pick up a point, having lost all 11 of their matches and have a goals deficit of 60.

Wellington are hoping the permanent appointment of the management team will bring some kind of stability to the side after some poor results. Conway has managed at all levels across the club while Norman is a former first team player.
