WELLINGTON Ladies will be back in action in the first division of the Somerset County Women’s Football League when they play away to Bridport Ladies on Sunday.
Wellington finished a splendid sixth last season, up two places compared to the previous season, with every prospect of improving again this winter.
Meanwhile, Wellington men’s first team play at home for the first time this season - they have played six successive away matches - when they meet Helston Athletic in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League at home tomorrow (Sat, 3p.m.).
They will be looking to avenge a 2-1 away defeat by Helston on the opening day of the season.
Wellington A will be looking to bounce back after their loss on penalties to Dunwear United Reserves in the Rowbarton Charity Cup in mid-week when they play away to Staplegrove Reserves in the Premier Division of the Taunton Saturday League - also tomorrow.
Wellington Reserves are without a game in the Devon & Exeter League tomorrow.
