OAKE Manor Golf Club have held their end of season Breakfast Pairs Texas Scramble.

The day started with more than 100 golfers having a full Oake Manor English breakfast.

The winners were Phillip Coleman and Jamie Short with a superb score of nett 61. Ian Loader and Barry Short came second with nett 63 while Ian Blackwell and Jason Brock were third, also with nett 63.

In the Sunday Stableford, Ian Nott was the winner with 35 points while Tim Dyke came second with 33 points and James McAuley was third with 32 points.

Ian Hockey won the Seniors Order of Merit Stableford on Monday, scoring 39 points in division 2, Robert Davies was second with 35 points while Robert Sanders came third with 34 points. Colin Brown won division 1 with 37 points, Michael Bright came second with 34 points and John Wall was third with 33 points.

The Seniors Eclectic Competition for 2025 has now been completed with Andy Stevenson winning division 1 with Colin Brown as runner up, Mike Robbins won division 2 with Meredith Collins as runner up.

Ian Ramus has won the Seniors’ Singles Knock Out Competition with runner up Graham Jones while, in the Pairs KO Competition, the winners were John Wall and Tony Faulker with the runners up Nick Mitchell and Chris Mann.

Neil Blackmoor won the Wednesday 9 hole Midweek Stableford scoring 21 points, while Jamie Short was second with 20 points and Benjamin Slade came third with 19 points.

In a recent Saturday Stableford, Past Captain Richard Clist was the overall winner, with 41 points in division 2. Second was Jeremy Winter with 34 points while Rob Berry was third, also with 34 points.

The first three players in division 1 all scored 38 points, but on count back Willian China came first with James Symons second and Jon Ball third.
